How can an institution apply for EAHEA accreditation?

Created by EAHEA Support, Modified on Mon, May 26 at 6:43 AM by EAHEA Support

Institutions seeking EAHEA accreditation must follow a structured application process designed to ensure transparency and adherence to quality standards. The first step is to complete the online application form available on EAHEA’s official website. The institution must provide detailed information about its academic programs, faculty, infrastructure, governance structure, quality assurance mechanisms, and student services.

Once the form is submitted, EAHEA’s evaluation team reviews the application and may request additional documents or clarifications. If the initial review is successful, the institution proceeds to a self-assessment phase, where it evaluates its own practices against EAHEA standards. This is followed by a third-party evaluation, which may include virtual or on-site audits. If the institution meets the criteria, it is awarded accreditation and granted the right to display the EAHEA seal.

The process is designed to be supportive rather than punitive, encouraging institutions to improve continuously while achieving international recognition.
